We were tasked with the art direction for the album “Just a Matter of Slime” and the visualizer for “Mind of Melvin feat. Lil Uzi Vert”. At the time Melly was incarcerated and we created the concept of the “House of Slime”, a metaphorical house where every room is a different track, a different aspect of Melly’s persona. The album cover reflects the themes of time, self destruction and the complexity of the mind. The Ouroboros, or self eating serpent, was the perfect symbol for these themes.
